General Secretary To Lam on December 5 directed the restart of two nuclear power projects in Ninh Thuan, covering 1,642 hectares. He stressed the importance of finalizing planning, legal frameworks, and strengthening communication for effective implementation, ensuring rapid and sustainable development. The General Secretary pledged that the Party and Government will adopt the best nuclear technologies, partner with top consultants, and train highly-skilled personnel to guarantee safe and efficient project operation.

Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week 2024 kicks off

The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week 2024 taking place on December 5-12 at Ben Thanh Market, features over 80 programs including the use of AR technology, regional collaborative events, and the 7th Techcombank International Marathon, drawing 17,000 participants. UNESCO recognizes vietnam’s heritage preservation efforts

UNESCO has officially inscribed the Sam Mountain Ba Chua Xu Festival into the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Featuring 80 rare, politically significant photos, the event honors 80 years of the Vietnam People’s Army. Running until December 25, it promotes national pride, cultural values, and public awareness of Vietnam’s military history.

Meta expands AI accessibility in vietnam

The tech firm Meta has introduced its AI platform to Vietnam for free access. The LLaMA-based chatbot offers features like text-to-image creation, travel planning, and multilingual translation. Initially launched for 20 international markets in July, MetaAI supports both Vietnamese and English languages but is not yet integrated into local Facebook or Instagram apps.
