Vietnam's tourism promotion at Hong Kong international fair
Key destinations in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc, were promoted at the 39th Hong Kong International Travel Expo from June 12 to 15. With the theme "From Recovery to Growth," the expo attracted around 500 businesses from 65 countries. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet represented Vietnam at the expo, showcasing signature Vietnamese tourism products and helping to promote the country's image.
2025 Seed and Agri-Tech Week to gather ASEAN exhibitors
Domestic and ASEAN exhibitors will gather at the 2025 Seed, High-Tech Agriculture, and Ornamental Creatures Week from June 19 to 22 to showcase agricultural seeds, OCOP products, and digital farming models. For the first time, the exhibition spaces will be organized by region to promote local identity and encourage collaboration between provinces.
Nha Trang tops list of favorite destinations for South Koreans
Nha Trang surpassed Tokyo to become the most-searched destination for South Korean travelers in early 2025, according to Agoda. The ranking is attributed to Nha Trang's affordable prices and proximity, as well as its scenic coastline and growing tourism infrastructure.
Vietcombank launches electric shuttle bus in Hanoi
Vietcombank launched its first internal electric bus route, which connects office sites in Hanoi. The “Vietcombank Green Bus,” which operates on weekdays, reduces commuting pressure while promoting a clean, safe, and green workplace. This initiative aligns with the bank’s long-term ESG strategy, reflecting its dedication to sustainable development and an environmentally friendly corporate culture.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways granted air transport license
Sun PhuQuoc Airways, under Sun Group, received an air transport license with US$99 million in capital on June 13. The airline will operate narrow-body Airbus A320/A321 aircraft to connect Phu Quoc with key domestic hubs. It will also target direct international routes to Japan, South Korea, China, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe — markets with strong potential but limited direct flight options.
