Hung Yen strengthens cooperation with German investor

On October 28, the Northern Province of Hung Yen held an investment promotion conference in Berlin with the participation of many German companies to seek investment in key sectors such as machinery and equipment manufacturing. Hung Yen's annual tax revenue is about US$1.64 billion, ranking 7th in the country with an annual growth of 10%.

 

Ninh Binh to assess Trang An's economic value

A project to assess the economic value of the Trang An Landscape Complex was launched by the northern province of Ninh Binh on October 28 to help shape strategies for heritage, tourism, and the creative economy, with the aim of making Hoa Lu a "Millennium Heritage City" and a creative city in the future.

Gia Lai's Wild Sunflower Week 2024 to showcase culture and landscapes

Wild Sunflower Week - Chu Dang Ya Volcano 2024, promoting the culture and landscapes of Gia Lai Highlands Province, will be staged in Chu Pah District and Pleiku City from November 6 to 12. The event will feature cultural activities such as gong performances, Jarai New Rice Festival, competitions, and traditional games. Visitors can enjoy local cuisine, hot air balloon rides, and the "Awakening Chu Pah Countryside" half marathon.

Vingroup launches VinVentures to boost tech start-up ecosystem

VinVentures, a technology investment fund of Vingroup, was launched on October 28 to promote the tech start-up ecosystem in Vietnam and the region. It focuses on AI, semiconductors, and cloud computing, supporting start-ups from seed stage to Series A. Viettel Cyber Security wins again, finds critical vulnerabilities

Viettel Cyber Security (VCS) won the Pwn2Own 2024 cybersecurity competition in Ireland on October 25 for the second year in a row. Competing against the world's top teams, VCS detected nine zero-day vulnerabilities in products from HP, Canon, Synology, and others, earning 33 points, nearly double the score of the runner-up. The win came with a $200,000 cash prize.

Bach Mai Hospital's first multi-organ donation saves four lives

Vietnam's Bach Mai Hospital has successfully saved four patients with organ transplants from a brain-dead donor, marking its first multi-organ donation success. The donor's heart, liver, and two kidneys were transplanted to patients in different hospitals across the country.
