Vietnamese startup attends world leading technology conference

The tech conference not only brings together the world's biggest information technology companies, but is also a place for startups to spread their wings and meet their peers.

AECIS was the only Vietnamese startup to participate in the 2023 Collision Technology Conference held in Toronto, Canada, from June 26 to 29.

The Collision Technology Conference is one of the four leading technology conferences in the world. More than 36,000 participants, including 900 major investors and 1,500 startups from nearly 120 countries, attended the 2023 edition.

The event not only brings together all the world's major information technology companies but is also a place for start-ups to spread their wings and raise their bar.

The Vietnamese AECIS booth aimed to promote technology solutions in construction management.

Nguyen Xuan Phong, director in charge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Vietnam's FPT Software, said the largest technology conference brings in a lot of investment funds for technology startups.

"This year's conference has breathed new life into AI, especially in large-scale language modeling. This model is proving useful for enterprises when it comes to solving performance problems," Phong said.

Nguyen Tin Lang, founder of AECIS, told the Vietnam News Agency that participating in this conference has helped the company access many new technology trends. "One of the effects of AI in project management is the ability to predict risks, especially those related to occupational safety, on the schedule or the impact on the quality of the project," he said.

He added that AECIS provides construction management solutions tailored to each individual project. "Our personalized approach ensures that the project is managed in a way that meets its unique requirements and objectives."

AECIS' main market is Southeast Asia and the Pacific. "In the near future, we plan to reach out to other markets such as North America, Egypt, or India to find potential partners and clients," said the founder.
