Warm Tet messages sent to Vietnamese naval soldiers

Apart from major food and delicacies for Tet – the Vietnamese traditional Lunar New Year, cards carrying the New Year wishes are valuable gifts to naval soldiers in different parts of Vietnam.

As a gesture showing admiration and affection for Vietnamese naval soldiers guarding the nation, schoolchildren nationwide have sent lovely messages to wish them a happy Lunar New Year or Tet holiday.

The cards have been sent to naval officers and soldiers on Con Co Island in the central province of Quang Tri and Ly Son Island in the neighboring province of Quang Ngai. The Hanoi Times reporter is honored to send the messages to the island guards.
