At the awards ceremony on June 6 in Hanoi, the organizing committee awarded two second-place prizes to two teams for their projects Ecoluxe - new materials from agricultural by-products to replace animal leather (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) and Bridal - bricks made from aluminum slag waste (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering).

Three teams received third-place awards for their projects: Fire Escape - training in fire prevention and firefighting skills; Manufacturing and experimental production of "green" cement-free concrete for smart city and circular economy goals; and Machine Learning in Robotics - assisting people with difficulties in eating and daily activities.

The competition, which drew 56 projects in a variety of subjects from 16 universities, colleges and academies after being open for more than a month, created a welcoming environment for students to demonstrate their enthusiasm for scientific research and entrepreneurship.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union and Chairman of the Hanoi Students' Association, Nguyen Tien Hung, said this is also a healthy forum for the capital's youth to prove themselves, develop their entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, and help build the country.

He added that the competition aims to substantiate the role of Hanoi's youth in implementing the Hanoi Party Committee's Program No. 07 on "Promoting the Development of Science, Technology and Innovation in Hanoi in 2021-2025".
