Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched its range in Vietnam in partnership with a local services provider, the company announced Wednesday.
Xiaomi signed a distribution agreement with Digiworld Corporation, which will help distribute, market and provide after-sales support for Xiaomi's smartphones and Mi Ecosystem products in Vietnam.
Xiaomi products will be available at retailers nationwide and through online shopping platform Lazada.
The Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A and Mi MIX will be available in Vietnam, as well as a range of Mi Power Banks.
Xiaomi is in no rush to expand internationally but will explore overseas gradually, starting with neighboring markets, CEO Lei Jun said last week.
The company became one of the top three smartphone brands in India last year and decided last month to expand into Pakistan and to manufacture cellphones in Indonesia.
The company started to expand overseas three years ago and is now active in over 20 countries and regions worldwide.
