Bird’s eye view of Hung King Temple before national anniversary
THE HANOI TIMES — The death anniversary of the Hung Kings, the legendary founders of Vietnam, is a national holiday that will fall on the 10th day of the third lunar month, or April 7, 2025, an occasion for the gatherings of Vietnamese people across the country and abroad.
The temple complex, located in Viet Tri City, the northern province of Phu Tho, is more solemn a few days ahead of the holiday.

Known also as Hung Vuong Tomb, it is thought to be the burial site of the 6th Hung King, a fabled leader of the Van Lang State in Vietnam’s history.
