Explore exhibition on 80 years of nation building
Visitors to the event will relive the historical moments of the country 80 years ago.
THE HANOI TIMES — An archival exhibition titled "Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity" will be held at the National Library in Hanoi from August 12 to September 18.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event will showcase 800 archival documents and 80 photographs, offering a compelling narrative of Vietnam’s eight-decade odyssey of resistance, unification, and national renewal.
It will highlight the August Revolution of 1945, the first great victory of Vietnam in the 20th century, and National Day on September 2, 1945, a glorious milestone for the Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era.
The event will also explore the historical value and contemporary significance of the August Revolution and the National Day, as well as Vietnam's steady progress over the past 80 years.
The exhibition features historically significant books, maps, and images, offering the public vivid insights into key events and figures in Vietnam’s history.
"Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity" celebrates the importance of these milestones in Vietnam's development under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh and seeks to foster patriotism, national pride, and self-reliance.
