"The development of agricultural and handicraft villages has helped farmers improve life and contributed to the city's socio-economic development with a focus on developing the One Community, One Product (OCOP) program," Quyen said.

He said Hanoi had built more than 200 rice production areas, over 5,000 hectares of safe vegetables, 50 high-quality flower gardens, and 60 large-scale aquaculture farms to boost smart and high-tech agriculture, adapting to climate change.

“Notably, the city has 160 high-tech agricultural production models; the value of high-tech agricultural products accounts for about 35% of the total value of agricultural production in the city, creating jobs for around 740,000 labor,” the vice chairman stressed.
