Hanoi commences construction of six-star Four Seasons Hotel

Intimex Vietnam Joint Stock Corporation of the Bank and Real Estate Group (BRG) Corporation held a ground-breaking ceremony on January 17 to start construction of the six-star Four Seasons Hotel by Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi.

The six-star Four Seasons Hotel is invested by investor Intimex Vietnam Joint Stock Corporation of the Bank and Real Estate Group (BRG) Corporation and its strategic partners.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Chung said that in 2016, Hanoi reached a record number of visitors with 21.8 million tourists, including 4.1 million international travellers.

The Chairman added that Hanoi will develop luxury hotels in the capital city’s prime locations in the next five years, as part of its efforts to promote tourism.
Hanoi encourages investors to develop luxury hotels and developing luxury hotels is necessary to develop tourism into a spearhead industry of the capital city, according to Chairman Chung.
He also asked the investor to complete the project on schedule in order to make a remarkable contribution for the city's tourism development.
Sharing on the project, BRG Corporation CEO Nguyen Thi Nga said that her company wants to create a landmark project for Hanoi capital, a impressive architecture helps elevate the landscape that retains the inherent characteristics of the Hoan Kiem Lake area.
Mr. Rainer Stampfer, Managing Director in the Asia - Pacific region of the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Group said: "We are delighted with BRG Group to invest the Four Seasons Hotel project by Hanoi's Hoan Kiem Lake. Hanoi capital owns a unique culture. We are very honoured to make a our small contribution to the city's development".
This is the first hotel of the world’s leading Four Seasons Hotels and Resort Company in the capital city.

The hotel, located on Le Thai To Street by Hoan Kiem Lake, will provide 100 high-class hotel rooms once operational to attract businessmen and tourists while serving domestic and international conferences. 
Design consulting firms WATG Singapore Incorporation and Vietnam’s IBSTAC Joint Stock Company are chosen for the project.
The hotel’s style will feature modernity and elegance but still matching with architecture of the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake area. 
Four Seasons, from Canada, now operates 102 hotels in 43 countries./.
