Hanoi promotes clean air program for a healthier future

Officials, international organizations and Hanoi residents joined activities promoting clean air, environmental awareness and sustainable living.

THE HANOI TIMES — The event “Clean Air for a Blue Sky” took place on November 1 at the Hoan Kiem walking space, organized by the Central Commission for Information and Mass Mobilization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Hanoi People’s Committee, UNDP and WHO.

The event was attended by central and city leaders, representatives of international organizations, experts, businesses and a large number of Hanoi residents.

It aimed to promote public awareness and collective responsibility for environmental protection, improvement of air quality and Vietnam’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, ensuring every citizen’s right to breathe clean air.

The program featured a “Walk for the Environment” around Hoan Kiem Lake and an exhibition of environmental awareness posters painted by Hanoi’s schoolchildren, spreading messages of hope and a greener future.

The “Clean Air for a Blue Sky” event concluded with a strong message of unity and shared responsibility for a cleaner and greener future.
