Toan, on behalf of the city leaders, expressed hope that once completed, the shopping mall would become a hub of commerce and entertainment, and serve better the citizens of the city west. “Today’s event affirms Hanoi’s policy of mobilizing foreign investment for commercial infrastructure. It also reflects the city authorities’ pledge to facilitate and attract foreign firms to Hanoi,” added Toan.
The Vice Mayor acknowledged and praised the efforts of related local units like the Ha Dong People’s Committee, the Nam Tu Liem People’s Committee, and AEONMALL Vietnam in bringing the project under roof.
Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda said that the project will contribute to not only improving the living standards of local residents but also promoting the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
Aeon Mall Ha Dong is the fifth shopping mall under AEON Group in Vietnam, and the second in Hanoi after Aeon Mall Long Bien, which was designed and constructed by the Kajima-Hoa Binh joint venture.
