The Hung Yen Department of Planning and Investment has just announced a list of investment projects using land in the Dream City ecological urban area project.

Dream City is located in the two communes of Long Hung and Nghia Tru, Van Giang district, with an area of 468.6ha and a population of 65,000. The project’s total investment value is VND33 trillion (US$1.4 billion). This is an ecological urban area consisting of three accommodation types: mixed-use high-rise buildings, low-rise houses, and garden houses. The project implementation period is from 2018 to 2025. The list of projects was approved by the Hung Yen People's Committee on March 5.

The Hung Yen Construction Department was assigned as the tenderer and will coordinate with relevant agencies to organize the selection of investors in accordance with the law on bidding. In February 2015, Vingroup and Hung Yen province held a conference to announce the detailed 1/500 planning of the ecological urban area. In August 2017, Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung asked the Hung Yen People's Committee to draw from experience in proposing build-transfer (BT) projects.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Hung Yen People's Committee to consult relevant ministries on the implementation of the Dream City eco-urban project and implement projects in accordance with the laws on construction investment and procurement.
Hung Yen province has many real estate projects, including: Hoa Phat project with an area of 300 ha, Xuan Cau project (200ha), HUD project (145ha), Xuan Thanh project (96ha), Van Giang’s Urban, Tourism and Trade project (54ha).
