International exhibitors make strong showing at VITM Hanoi 2025

International tourism agencies made a vibrant impact at VITM Hanoi 2025, captivating visitors with cultural showcases, travel promotions, and interactive experiences that highlighted global destinations and strengthened cross-border tourism ties.

THE HANOI TIMES — The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) has once again transformed the capital into a vibrant cultural hub, with dozens of booths from international tourism promotion agencies and embassies showcasing immersive travel experiences.

Among the standout participants is the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam, which continues its strong presence at VITM Hanoi. This year, KTO Vietnam unveiled one of the largest and most distinctive booths at the event, drawing visitors with a rich array of interactive cultural activities.

Attendees can explore Korean tourism through a hands-on experience, from trying on traditional Hanbok and visiting a recreated Korean market, to taking instant souvenir photos and participating in fun quizzes for prizes. Free travel books and detailed tourism information are also available, giving visitors a deeper look into South Korea's attractions and travel options.

In particular, VITM Hanoi 2025 features a strong lineup of Korean regional tourism agencies, including representatives from Jeju, Busan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Suwon City, and the Gyeongsangbuk Tourism Promotion Agency. Their presence promises to bring fresh insights and enticing experiences from some of South Korea’s top travel destinations.

Visitors interested in booking trips to Korea can also look forward to exclusive gifts and promotions when purchasing tour packages from KTO Vietnam’s official partners, such as Vietravel Hanoi, Hanoitourist, Flamingo Redtours, Hanotours, Hanoi SkyTours, Saigontourist Hanoi, BestPrice Travel, and Postum Travel.

Malaysian tourism is set to captivate visitors at the VITM Hanoi 2025. Hence, this year’s participation also marks the highly anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) Campaign, themed Surreal Experiences, encouraging Vietnamese travelers to discover Malaysia’s rich array of attractions.

Tourism Malaysia are joined by key Malaysian tourism players such as, Sarawak Tourism Board, Tourism Melaka, as well as strategic airline partners including AirAsia with Batik Air alongside Malaysia’s leading travel agents that will be offering exclusive travel deals and promotions.

The Malaysia pavilion at VITM Hanoi 2025 serves as an information hub, where visitors can discover Malaysia’s vibrant festivals, thrilling adventure spots, and breathtaking nature escapes.

Visitors at the Malaysia pavilion can mesmerize cultural dances performed by talented Sarawak artists and photo ops with the lovable Malayan Sun Bear mascots. Exciting mini-games and giveaways offer a chance to win exclusive Malaysia travel merchandise.

Malaysian tourism also brings complimentary tourism brochures, maps, and travel guides to assist in planning a perfect Malaysian getaway.

"As we gear up for Visit Malaysia 2026, we invite visitors to experience our world-class destinations, from pristine islands to vibrant cityscapes and exciting theme parks," said Sany.

India Tourism pavilion is showcasing Incredible India to Vietnamese tourism agencies, businesses and people. At the opening of VITM, Indian music and dance was presented by teachers and students of the Swami Vivekanand Cultural Centre, Hanoi.

Apart from cultural performances, India is disseminating select print material, videos and digital information to visitors, businesses, travel agencies and local media in Vietnam. The Indian pavilion witnessed impressive footfall on the first day of VITM 2025, which represents sound visible interest in India, touristic trend and further opportunities for tourism from Vietnam to India. Several Indian travel agencies are present at VITM 2025 and engaging with Vietnamese counterparts towards greater tourism travel between the two countries.

To realize large and growing potential of tourism from Vietnam to India, the embassy and authorities in India have been organizing in the recent past conducted tours of Vietnamese travel operators to various touristic locations in India.

The embassy is boosting tourism awareness through outreach with Vietnamese travel agencies and Vietnamese-language promotions across digital platforms. Direct flights between seven Indian cities and Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang have further strengthened travel ties. Vietnamese tour operators are also expanding their offerings to include both popular and lesser-known destinations across India.

According to Indian Embassy, in the light of enormous interest and warmth at the level of the people of India and Vietnam, greater two-way tourism and travel between the two countries will enhance people level understanding and appreciation, and further strengthen Indian-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership.

Tourism has been witnessing healthy growth between India and Vietnam in the last couple of years. As per Vietnamese data, India was the eighth largest source of tourism to Vietnam with 500,000 travellers in the year 2024. About 55,000 Vietnamese travellers are estimated to have visited India last year, which represents a substantive increase over the previous year.
