Professor Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, has urged all relevant units to continue reviewing and implementing their responsibilities in line with the approved plan, stressing that the leadership of the professional medical council will take final responsibility for decisions in any unexpected situations.

Under the plan, hospitals and medical institutes with inpatient facilities are required to keep between five and ten emergency beds on standby. Each hospital must also deploy at least one medical team and one ambulance on 24-hour duty from 1 PM on January 18 until the end of the congress, ready to respond to out-of-hospital emergencies.

In addition, the Ministry of National Defense has deployed nine medical teams and one disaster relief unit, while the Ministry of Public Security has arranged one medical team to support healthcare services during the congress.

The Vietnam Food Administration and the Department of Preventive Medicine have closely coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Health and the Hanoi Center for Disease Control to oversee food safety, disease prevention and water quality inspections at venues hosting the congress.

Meanwhile, contingency plans for disease prevention and food poisoning have been carefully prepared.

Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Services Administration under the Ministry of Health, said that the medical subcommittee has disseminated a medical handbook to relevant units to share information and coordinate during the Party Congress.

Duc acknowledged leading professors and medical experts for their close cooperation and strong responsibility in supporting the medical subcommittee’s preparations.

The director called on experts and healthcare workers to uphold a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism to ensure that medical services for the nation's congress are provided with the highest quality.
