Singer Duc Phuc to represent Vietnam at Intervision music contest

With his convincing voice and professionalism, Duc Phuc is considered a fitting representative of Vietnam in this musical event.

THE HANOI TIMES — Pop singer and songwriter Duc Phuc has been chosen to represent Vietnam at Intervision 2025, a prestigious international music contest to take place from September 11 to 20 in Russia.

According to the organizers, Intervision 2025 will bring together artists from more than 20 countries, including China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, and South Africa.

Originally held in Czechoslovakia in 1965, the Intervision contest has a long history.

This year's competition aims to celebrate musical talent and promote traditional artistic values, as well as foster international cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

In a video introduction posted on the official Intervision website, Phuc, 28,  impressed viewers by greeting them in Russian and introducing himself as the winner of The Voice Vietnam in 2015 and one of the top five artists from the 2024 music program Say Hi Never Say Goodbye, which has sparked significant enthusiasm among young audiences.

With nearly a decade of experience in the music industry, the Hanoi-born singer is widely regarded as a powerful vocalist with a large fan base and a strong performance record.

His participation in Intervision 2025 is a significant step for Vietnamese music on the global stage. It also reflects the growing professionalism of Vietnam’s young artists.
