Thai Binh province begins construction of Tien Hai-Viglacera Industrial Park

The State-owned glass and construction ceramic corporation Viglacera held a groundbreaking ceremony to construct the first phase of its Tien Hai-Viglacera Industrial Park on February 19 in the northern province of Thai Binh.

The project covering 446 ha has a total investment of more than 174 billion VND.

The first phase of Tien Hai-Viglacera Industrial Park will be built on the area of about 32 ha and is scheduled to complete in September, 2016.
The park is expected to create nearly 30,000 jobs for local residents.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha appreciated the Viglacera's new plans in investing in urban and industrial zones.
Deputy Minister Pham Hong Ha required local authorities to facilitate implementing the project.
Also on February 19, Vigracera inaugurated the expansion of its Granite tile factory in Thai Binh province, which uses natural fuel instead of coal gasification technology.
The factory which has a combined capacity of 2 million square metres of products per year, generated jobs for 150 labourers. Its tile products will be also exported to Europe, Indonesia and others.
