The Capital encourages project on building infrastructure in safe vegetable zones

Under the Official Letter 4677/UBND-KT dated September 25, the Hanoi People’s Committee requests Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and People’s Committee of districts and towns to implement the project on building infrastructure in safe vegetable production zones.




 

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall report outcome after implementing instructions of the Municipal Party Committee Secretary and the Municipal People’s Committee pursuant to Document 2716/UBND-TKBT dated June 2, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee and Document 7269/VP-KT dated August 1, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee Office on safe vegetable zones in Me Linh suburban district.

If projects in suburban districts of Thanh Tri, Chuong My, Soc Son, Phuc Tho, Ba Vi, Gia Lam, Thuong Tin and Quoc Oai are approved by the Municipal People’s Committee but project items are not completed yet, People’s Committees of the districts are responsible for mobilizing local budget and calling for investment of the private sector to finish and put them into operation according to regulation.

 


 

If projects receive approval in principle of the Municipal People’s Committee but they are not begun yet, People’s Committees of the districts in cooperation with Authority of Plan and Investment, relevant agencies, sectors and units shall call for investment of enterprises, in particular investment in projects on high-tech agriculture production.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with Authority of Plan and Investment and Department of Finance shall guide People’s Committees of suburban districts and towns through the implementation process according to regulation.
