On display at the exhibition are construction-building materials (45 enterprises), smart home technology-electrical equipment-architecture (39), interior and exterior decoration, doors and door accessories (63), and other products such as equipment, machinery, and pumps (42). The products are considered to be of new designs, improved features, and quality to meet the growing demand for housing, construction, interior, and exterior decoration, meeting the criteria of sustainable development and environmental protection.

Within the exhibition, seminars, business forums will be held in-person and online to connect supply and demand, present new technologies and products which are friendly to the environment.

It aims to support enterprises to recover and restore their operations, especially trade connections, thereby strengthening socio-economic development once the pandemic is under control and ensuring market stability in 2022.

Duong Duc Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee said that Vietbuild Hanoi Exhibition 2022 is an opportunity for trade promotion activities, investment cooperation, which contribute to accessing smart solutions and technologies of building materials and construction techniques.

He added that, in the field of housing development, the city will try to meet the needs of people by providing a full range of segments, from commercial properties, resettlement housing to social housing. The city also continues to push for urban development investment projects, prioritizing residential areas in new urban areas of the East of Ring Road 4 and the north of the Red River.

“Hanoi aims to expand satellite urban areas, apply high technology to develop smart cities, synchronize technical and social infrastructures, and other utilities,” Tuan underlined.

To achieve the above goals, the city continues to promote administrative reform, focusing on procedures for construction investment and licensing, encouraging the application of new technologies and new building materials to create fast and sustainable development.

Authorities in big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City actively have reviewed plans, promoting investment in infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, and implementing urban development projects. A package to support the development of social and worker housing and renovation of old apartments has been released recently. This is an opportunity and favorable conditions for enterprises in building materials, interior and exterior decoration, and real estate to create momentum to restore their operations in the coming time.
