Vietnam Fashion Week returns in November with creative global lineup

The event will gather leading Vietnamese and international designers, celebrating 20 seasons of creativity, diversity and personal identity in fashion.

THE HANOI TIMES — The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025 will take place from November 11 to 15 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi, marking its 20th edition with the theme "Pure Identity Creates Style" (#PureStyleShines).

This year’s event will bring together numerous Vietnamese and international designers, according to Trang Le, Chairwoman of the Council of ASEAN Fashion Designers (CAFD) and Chairwoman of the Vietnam International Fashion Week.

She said that the fashion week aims to strengthen the professional and sustainable growth of Vietnam’s fashion industry while inspiring individuals to express confidence and authenticity in their personal style.

With its special meaning to celebrate the 20 consecutive editions, the Fall/Winter 2025 season will feature 20 fashion brands and designers from Vietnam and other countries, most of them from Southeast Asia, Trang told a press conference on October 29.

Each collection highlights the designer’s individuality and cultural narrative, offering a diverse showcase of creativity, she said.

Among the international participants are renowned designers like Frederick Lee from Singapore, Francis Libiran from the Philippines and Priyo Oktavino from Indonesia. Other names include Chula from Spain, Mr. Ajay Kumar from India, Natacha Van from Cambodia, Bandid Lasavong from Laos, Trip&Co from China and Behati from Malaysia.

For the first time, two well-known Vietnamese fashion brands, Canifa and Pantio, will join the show. Canifa will present a collection of practical designs for all ages, while Pantio will introduce elegant and modern outfits for women.

Other Vietnamese designers and brands taking part include Vu Viet Ha, Ha Linh Thu, Adrian Anh Tuan, Cao Minh Tien, Ivan Tran, CEM and The Mab Lab, enriching the diversity of this year’s fashion week.

Alongside the main shows, the organizers have partnered with Hanoi University of Architecture and the University of Industrial Fine Arts to help young designers gain experience and showcase their creativity.

“These programs aim to nurture young talent and contribute to building a new generation of creative designers for Vietnam’s fashion industry,” said Trang.

Before the main event, several companion activities have began such as the Model Casting Week running on October 30-31 and the “Art of Purity: Fashion and Art Interaction” exhibition held from October 30 to November 2 at Royal City in Hanoi.

These activities embody the spirit of Pure Identity Creates Style, celebrating individuality and inspiring everyone to express their unique sense of style through fashion.

According to the organizers, the Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025 will feature many acclaimed models alongside emerging talents, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere at Quan Ngua Sports Palace.

The collections are expected to highlight creativity, integration, and distinctive identity, reflecting each designer’s artistic vision.

Since its first edition in 2014, the Vietnam International Fashion Week has evolved into a major platform connecting Vietnamese fashion with the regional industry, enabling local designers to collaborate, exchange ideas and present their work to international audiences.
