NA Chairman departs for Senegal, Morocco and global parliamentary summit in Switzerland

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man today [July 22] departed Hanoi with his spouse Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga and a high-level Vietnamese delegation for official visits to Senegal and Morocco. Toddler revived after drowning thanks to advanced resuscitation technique

Deputy Director of Hue Central Hospital Hoang Thi Lan Huong on July 22 announced the successful discharge of a two-year-old patient, N.T.T.M., from Loc An commune, Hue, following nearly two weeks of intensive treatment after experiencing cardiac arrest due to drowning at home. The child’s remarkable recovery was made possible by timely intervention and the use of targeted temperature management, an advanced resuscitation technique currently employed in leading intensive care units worldwide.

Finance Ministry proposes 20% annual capital gains tax on securities trading

Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance has proposed a 20% tax on annual capital gains from securities transactions made by resident individuals, as part of the draft amended Personal Income Tax Law.
