100 dishes from sweet potatoes set Vietnamese record

On December 24, the Vietnam Registration Organization presented a record certificate to the Binh Tan District People's Committee for 100 dishes made with sweet potatoes in the district of the Mekong Delta Province of Vinh Long. This activity took place in a cooking competition during the 3rd Tourism Festival 2023 held in the province from December 23 to 25.

Tourism development partnership between Hanoi and Lam Dong

Hanoi and the highland province of Lam Dong have agreed to make better use of their respective cultural resources, landscapes and handicrafts to create attractive tourism offers. This was announced at the Hanoi-Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Partnership Program held in Dalat City, Lam Dong Province, from December 22 to 24. The event, themed "Hanoi Days in Lam Dong", featured more than 30 booths and promotional areas showcasing the specialties of Hanoi and Lam Dong.

Inauguration of 4 major transportation projects in Vietnam

On December 24, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh kicked off the construction of the Dien Bien Airport expansion project and inaugurated three national key transportation infrastructure projects: Tuyen Quang-Phu Tho Expressway connecting to Noi Bai-Lao Cai Expressway, My Thuan-Cantho Expressway and My Thuan 2 Bridge.

FPT Software Quy Nhon to train nearly 20,000 technology professionals annually

The FPT Software Quy Nhon Complex project, which includes research, production and training of technology experts, will train nearly 20,000 talents every year, according to Vu Van Dong, director of FPT Software Quy Nhon. The project is currently in the design phase, with implementation expected to begin in early 2024. This will enhance Vietnamese technology companies' competitiveness and transform Quy Nhon into an artificial intelligence hub in the Asian region.

KIDO ventures into fish sauce and seasoning power industry

On December 25, KIDO, a Vietnamese confectionery manufacturer, announced the launch of four new products, including Tuong An Anchovy Fish Sauce and Tuong An Unicook Seasoning, which fall under the condiment category and are considered an important strategic move for KIDO. The fast-moving consumer goods giant has developed essential product sets, including cooking oil, seasoning powder, fish sauce, and vegetable butter, for the Lunar New Year holiday, aiming to provide more choices and diversify the product experience for retailers and consumers.
