Vietnam wins silver medal at World Circus Art Festival

This is the first time the Vietnamese circus has won a medal at IDOL, one of the most prestigious competitions in the circus world. The performance of the four female artists was highly praised by the event's judges for their skillful performance techniques.

Vietnamese enterprises promote exports to southwest China market

The 28th Kunming Import and Export Fair in China's Yunnan Province has provided a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to seek partners and promote exports to the market of China's southwest region.

International Conference on Biomedical Engineering opens in Vietnam

The 10th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering (BME10) opened on July 25 in the central province of Binh Thuan, Vietnam.

Themed "Healthcare Evolution towards 5P Medicine in Low- and Middle-income Countries Ecosystem", the three-day event has attracted the participation of nearly 300 renowned foreign scientists from the US, France, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and South Korea.

i-Speed application helps improve Internet network quality in Vietnam

On July 25, the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) launched the latest update of the i-Speed version 4.0 application to measure Internet access speed in Vietnam for Android operating systems for one week.

The i-Speed application version 4.0, which has been activated by many people, will help government agencies and telecommunication companies to optimize the quality of Internet access services.

Vietnamese companies granted permission to farm lobster in Indonesia

The Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has granted licenses to three Vietnamese companies to farm juvenile lobster: Mutagreen Aquaculture International, Ratuworld Aquaculture International, and Gajaya Aquaculture International. Five Vietnamese companies are cooperating with Indonesian companies in this industry, with two still in the verification process. 

Dong Nai announces conservation measures for rare Oriental Darter

Tran Dang Ninh, Chairman of the Dong Nai Tourism Association, said that a flock of Oriental Darter, listed in Vietnam's Red Book, has nested in Buu Long Tourist Area. To protect them, Buu Long Tourist Area has notified the Forest Protection Department, restricted the use of drones, monitored the habitat and evaluated food sources. The darters migrate in April, breed and leave around October. They were first spotted in 2019 with 500 birds, but the flock size has decreased to about 150 birds in 2024.

Hanoi hosts National Circus Talent Contest 2024

The National Circus Talent Contest 2024 will run from August 7 to 14 in Hanoi. Held every three years, the contest aims to discover and nurture Vietnamese circus talent and provide a platform for artists nationwide to share and learn. It is open to circus artists from both the public and private sectors, as well as students of circus arts.
