Vietnam's dairy industry raises environmental protection awareness

As part of the 4th Vietnam International Dairy and Dairy Products Exhibition, the "Green Journey - Exchange Milk Cartons for Gifts" program was launched to raise public awareness on environmental protection. This year's exhibition gathered nearly 200 booths showcasing the latest and most advanced products and technologies from international organizations and enterprises. The event will be held at the Phu Tho Sports Complex in Ho Chi Minh City until June 2.

 

First Festival for Peace to be held in Vietnam

The Festival for Peace 2024 will be launched on July 6 at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Relic Site in the central province of Quang Tri. It is the first festival to celebrate the value of peace, pay tribute to fallen heroes and commemorate war victims.

Free nationwide rollout of smart healthcare solution

The Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order under the Ministry of Public Security and HDBank have launched a program to roll out free smart healthcare kiosks nationwide. The goal is to have at least 1,001 of these kiosks operational by 2025. Through these kiosks, citizens will be able to access health loans, receive cash advances, and collect reimbursements for medical fees and treatment costs, all linked to their electronic health records.

Danang matchmaking startup projects with international investment funds

The Danang Venture and Angel Summit 2024 (DAVAS 2024) on May 31 in the central coastal city of Danang brought together 10 major domestic and international investment funds and about 30 startup projects seeking funding.

This is the first time such an event has been held, with the aim of providing opportunities for startup projects to meet investors and access investment funds, and to gradually establish Danang as an attractive destination for capital raising and investment, creating a community of angel investors and venture capital funds in the city.

Vietnam ranks 6th in Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad

Vietnam's national team ranked 6th out of 35 participating countries and territories at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2024, winning one gold and six silver medals, the Ministry of Education and Training announced on May 31.

The Vietnamese national team consisted of 15 contestants who competed online at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Based on the competition results, four Vietnamese contestants will be selected to participate in the 2024 International Computer Science Olympiad in Egypt from September 1 to 8.

Hanoi to maintain its leading position in administrative indices

 

Hanoi is committed to maintaining its leading position among provinces and cities in the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX), Public Administration Service Satisfaction Index (SIPAS), and Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) in 2024. The city has identified specific tasks and solutions to improve the criteria and sub-criteria of these indices.
