Vietnam showcases advanced military equipment in rehearsal for 80th National Day

Hundreds of Vietnamese tanks, artillery systems, drones, missiles, and other military equipment moved in unison during the full-scale rehearsal marking the 80th anniversary of National Day.

THE HANOI TIMES — More than 15,600 officers and soldiers participated in a large-scale rehearsal on July 17 at National Military Training Center No. 4 in Mieu Mon, Hanoi, ahead of the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution (August 19) and Vietnam’s National Day (September 2).

The rehearsal brought together military, police and other armed units, with 18 standing formations and 43 marching contingents. For the first time, tank, artillery, and missile units conducted joint maneuvers with infantry forces, creating a striking display of coordination.
