THE HANOI TIMES — Vietnam has expressed deep concern over the United States’ decision to impose additional tariffs on goods from countries supplying oil to Cuba, warning that the move could have serious economic and social consequences for the Cuban people.
Responding to reporters’ questions on February 2, Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said the measure, announced by the US on January 29, would negatively affect Cuba’s economy, society and the daily lives of its citizens.
