Belarus to supply bus and subway for Hanoi

On June 8, Hanoi People`s Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic Belarus in Vietnam - Mr.Valery Sadokho. There were representatives from the City`s departments, branches and some Belarus enterprises attending the reception.

At the meeting, the two sides expressed their pleasure at the traditional relations of friendship between Vietnam and Belarus that is increasingly growing, especially in economy and trade. However, considering the limited potential, Ambassador Valery Sadokho and City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said that the agreement between Vietnam and Asia - Europe Economic Union (Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus , Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Armenia) signed on May 29, 2015 will create favorable conditions to promote relations and development cooperation in each country.

Exchanging relevant content, Ambassador Valery Sadokho said, many Belarus enterprises would like to invest in Hanoi. According to the Ambassador, MAZ Minsk Automobile Corporation, which has produced thousands of truck supply of super-size, super-weight for the mining industry of Vietnam; many truck exports to some Asian countries, would like to design, manufacture automotive vehicles for public passenger transport in Hanoi. "Hanoi requested size, type of vehicle models, MAZ Minsk Group will design to meet this demand" Ambassador Valery Sadokho commited.

Welcomed and agreed with the above suggestion, City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung confirmed that the City will create the most favorable conditions for Belarus enterprises to invest in Hanoi. He also derised that Ambassador Valery Sadokho will be a bridge for enterprises of the two countries to come together to implement the content of cooperation. For projects of Minsk MAZ buses, city studied consideration and compared to the same kind of Korean cars and delivered Hanoi Transport Corporation to exchange and consider. Chairman welcomed the spirit of co-design work of the Institute and the Minsk metro that will connect with the Ministry of transport to cooperate in implementing the underground project in Hanoi.

Ambassador Valery Sadokho and the businesses expressed impressive feelings about the conversation, clearly believed that the content will be soon driven. Ambassador Valery Sadokho conveyed the invitation of the Mayor of Minsk City - the Capital of Belarus to deploy content and concretize the cooperation that was signed between the two previous city; simultaneously, scaling, collaboration, exploiting the potential advantages of each party. "Recently, with Conference of Hanoi 2016 - Investment and Development Cooperation, I feel that the potential of cooperation between Belarus and the Hanoi is so huge", Ambassador Valery Sadokho expressed his excitement.
