Better Choice Awards 2025 to highlight consumer-driven innovation

This award expands in 2025 with four key categories, recognizing excellence in technology, automotive, digital innovation, and consumer finance tailored to Vietnamese market needs.

THE HANOI TIMES — The 2025 Better Choice Awards, which aim to promote smart consumption and sustainable innovation, were announced on August 7.

The awards, in their third edition, were launched by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with VCCorp, a leading Vietnamese digital media and technology company.

In response to National Innovation Day (October 1), the 2025 awards have expanded in scale with four main categories, including Smart Choice Awards for technology devices and solutions, and Car Choice Awards for automotive products and brands.

Meanwhile, the Innovative Choice Awards for digital platform innovations, and the Consumer Finance Awards for financial solutions tailored to Vietnamese consumers.

For the first time, VCCorp will host the awards alongside the Vietnam Mobility Festival, an experiential event showcasing future mobility solutions.

This joint format highlights the intersection of technology, innovation, and domestic manufacturing, while honoring automakers, transport tech startups, infrastructure providers, and industry experts.

In addition to the award ceremony, a series of thematic conferences will focus on artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and quantum technology.

Nguyen Dang Ngoc, Deputy CEO of VCCorp, said that the judging process is transparent, combining public voting with expert panel evaluations. VCCorp will also release the KOC Better List, a ranking curated from reviews by tech-savvy consumers.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 3 in Hanoi.
