Enhancing the supply-demand link between the Capital and other localities

The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently issued Plan No. 217/KH-UBND on the supply-demand link between Hanoi and other cities as well as provinces nationwide.



The plan has following purposes:

Implementing cooperation programs between Hanoi and localities in the field of trade and agriculture; increase the commercial links, consumption of goods between Hanoi and localities, focusing on farm products and prime commodities, thus supporting product consumption, ensuring the balance between supply and demand and stabilizing the market for upcoming New Year’s Eve and Lunar New Year of 2018;

Organizing a product exhibition as side event of conference, create favorable conditions for participating unit to introduce their goods to partners and enhance trade among localities, develop the distribution system to meet consumption demand of people in Ha Noi as well as other localities nationwide; enhance information work, promote the advantaged products and safe products of cities and provinces to consumers and tourists.

The products to be promoted must have clear origin, meet requirements according to regulations, especially food safety requirement, and show full information of the producers. Special attention is paid to featured products of cities and provinces, such as confectioneries, agro-forestry products, seafood, processed food, beverages, rice, spices, fruits and vegetables for annual demand, New Year and Lunar New Year of 2018, especially products which meet VietGap and GlobalGap standards.

Localities and units which register for participating in the exhibition offer their products, photos and documents in the assigned area, and provide full information of the goods.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development provides data of production zones and productivity of enterprises and units, and cooperates with Hanoi Promotion Center to prepare for signing of agreements between localities at the conference.

Hanoi press agencies in coordination with Department of Industry and Trade and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development conduct popularization and information work of the conference, and support promotion of the products.
