Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang made the statement while hosting the reception for the delegation of the Moscow Committee of the Russian Federation Communist Party led by Parfenov Denis Andreevich, its second secretary and member of Russia’s Duma in Hanoi on December 24.
Hang expressed her belief that, with the determination and efforts of the new leadership, the Moscow Party Committee will continue to fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Communist Party of Russian Federation and contribute to the development of Russia in general and Moscow in particular.
She affirmed that the friendly relationship between the two nations has a long history and tradition. Particularly, in September 2018, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong paid an official visit to the Russian Federation at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. The working visit achieved many successes and created a new milestone to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia with their signing of the joint statement.
Hang believed that the working visit of the Moscow Communist Party delegation would open more cooperation opportunities between the two cities. On that basis, she proposed four contents that both sides can enhance cooperation. They are maintaining and enhancing activities of delegation exchange, learning experiences on Party work, improving performance of the two Party Committees in the new era, promoting and creating favorable conditions for businesses of two cities to invest, produce and operate effectively, among others.
For his part, Parfenov Denis Andreevich affirmed that the friendship between the two Party Committees contributes to promoting the relationship between the two parties and strengthening the two countries’ traditional tie.
