The Hanoi People’s Committee announced the information on November 12, regarding the application of technology for a comprehensive review and data verification of vehicle registration and driver license records in the city.

Local officials said the move aims to ensure an effective and efficient review and cleansing of vehicle registration and driver license data while strengthening digital management and citizen services.

The Public Administrative Service Center will work with the Hanoi Police Department and related agencies to develop a technological solution on the iHanoi platform.

The system will collect and update citizen data, cross-check and standardize vehicle and driver license records, replacing manual methods to save time, manpower and costs.

Following directives from the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi Police Department launched a 60-day campaign from November 12 to December 30, 2025 to review and verify all motor vehicle and driver license data.

Citizens are encouraged to install the app, create accounts on the “Digital Capital Citizen” platform and declare their vehicle and driver license information.

Ward and commune authorities were directed to ensure all residents complete their data declarations, providing guidance where needed.

The Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee will coordinate with local authorities and community teams to promote and assist residents and businesses in updating information through the iHanoi app.

The process must ensure transparency, accessibility and convenience for all users.
