The PM said at a meeting on December 30 that the ministry is the first state agency implementing the decision on combating corruption at a national conference held in 2013.

PM Phuc said the police forces have largely contributed to the country’s anti-corruption achievements thanks to the improvement of the regulatory framework together with digital transformation in administrative procedures settlement.

The ministry was hailed for making efforts to boost the administrative reforms and put public services online to minimize bureaucracy.

At the meeting, the PM and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong awarded Combatant Exploit Order – first class to Minister of Public Security To Lam and Labor Order to some individual and divisions of the ministry for their merits in the fight against corruption.

The year 2013 marked the establishment of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption chaired by the party chief. Since then, the combat against corruption has been more effective, gaining more “public support” and “international recognition”.

Since then, nearly 1,900 corruption cases with nearly 4,400 culprits have been brought to justice.
