To explore the hidden treasures of Hanoi via the upcoming CNN's show

A special show - Hanoi POV with a half-hour special airing on November 3 would give you fresh aspects about the Vietnamese capital city.

In ‘Hanoi POV’, CNN explores Vietnam’s stunning capital city through the eyes of its residents. In a series of cinematic videos, CNN profiles five creative personalities, each with their own unique take on the city they call home. Discover Hanoi from their point of view, from their favorite local haunts and the places that inspire them, to the best spots in their neighborhoods that are off the beaten tourist map.

These stories will air during primetime hours in a theme-week of coverage, culminating into a 30-minute special that premieres on November 3. Highlights from the special include:
Donna Bramhall
Donna moved to Hanoi as a lecturer for the London College for Design and Fashion. Her passion for tribal textiles led to a blog called Haute Culture. In ‘Hanoi POV’, she takes viewers to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum and also on a scenic tour of Hoan Kiem Lake.
Mark Lowerson and Văn Công Tú
Mark founded one of the longest-running blogs about Vietnamese food. Together with Tu, he runs a tour group to educate visitors about Hanoi’s best hidden spots for food, such as bun ca (fish noodle soup) on Quan Thanh Street and Café Duy Tri on Yen Phu Street.
 Tram Vu
Tram is a former cultural reporter who is now an activist working to promote emerging local artists. In 2012, she co-founded Manzi – an art gallery and café located in a renovated French-style house. CNN visits Manzi and its surrounding neighbourhood, as well as artist Pham Khach Quang’s studio.
Nguyen Qui Duc
Duc is an author, poet and painter whose works often explore the concept of home and culture. He takes audiences to the tranquil Temple of Literature, and later goes to the bustling fruit and flower market. Duc owns a bar frequented by Hanoi’s literati, and a noodle restaurant voted #1 in the city by Lonely Planet.
Quoc Trung
Quoc Trung is a record producer, songwriter and co-founder of the Monsoon Music Festival. He has appeared as a judge on Vietnam Idol and The Voice of Vietnam. He brings viewers to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and afterwards to The Summit bar at the Pan Pacific Hanoi.
