During Tet, apricot blossoms are indispensable for Vietnamese families in the southern region as peach blossoms are in the northern region.

The sixth biannual Da Lat Flower Festival, themed “Da Lat - A Multitude of Flower Colours” (Da Lat – Muon Sac Mau Hoa) kicked off in Da Lat city`s Lam Vien (Langbiang) square in Lam Dong province on December 29.

The closing ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2015 - Thanh Hoa with the theme “Connecting World Heritages” was held at the Lam Son square in Thanh Hoa city on December 26.

According to the organising board, Saigontourist, the 2016 Flower Street festival in HCM City will be held on Nguyen Hue Walking Street from February 5-12, 2016.

Da Lat has completed preparation work for the 2015 flower festival scheduled on December 29, 2015 to January 2, 2016 in Da Lat City.
