Upholding the Oath: Night of patriotism and pride

The event aims to honor national heroes, celebrate Public Security traditions, and inspire unity for peace, safety, and future development.

THE HANOI TIMES — The Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Vietnam Television, held a special art program titled "Upholding the Oath: A Heroic Anthem from the Roots" on July 20 at the Central Public Security Historical Site in the northern mountain province of Tuyen Quang, the cradle of the Vietnamese revolution and resistance war against French colonialists.   

The event celebrated the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947–July 27, 2025). It also looked ahead to the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Force and the 20th anniversary of All People's Day for National Security Protection.

Party, state, army, and ministry of public security leaders, as well as central agencies and Tuyen Quang Province authorities, attended the program, along with a large number of local people.

In his speech, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, said that the People's Public Security Force forever honors the immense contributions of fallen heroes, war invalids, and individuals devoting themselves to the revolutionary cause.

The program reaffirmed the force’s pledge to uphold its proud tradition, ensure national security and public order, and contribute to a peaceful and prosperous Vietnam.

The program consisted of three segments: "Revolutionary Path," "Faith in Victory," and "Upholding the Oath." During the event, the Ministry of Public Security presented gifts to 30 families who had rendered meritorious service to the country.
