Vietnam’s Autumn Fair 2025 aims to stimulate consumption with outstanding products displayed

The fair is expected to become a prominent highlight in the series of economic and trade promotion events of Vietnam in 2025.

THE HANOI TIMES — The Autumn Fair 2025 aims to boost consumption, stimulating domestic market and expanding foreign trade, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Slated to be held at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi from October 20 to November 5, the fair is hoped to draw about 500,000 visitors per day, reflecting the strong appeal of a nationally and regionally significant event.

Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade cum head of the organizing board, said at a meeting on October 14 that Autumn Fair 2025 will be Vietnam’s largest-ever fair and contribute to achieving this year's growth target of over 8%.

It is a national-scale economic and cultural event held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee, along with various ministries and localities under the prime minister's direction.

"A successful Autumn Fair 2025 will be foundation for establishing an annual four-season fair series, Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter”, becoming an important destination for trade promotion and cultural industry development in the country," said Tan.

He quoted Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son as saying that those displayed at the Autumn Fair 2025 must be outstanding products meeting rigorous quality controls.

"Organizers will stage ten thematic conferences and online export forums featuring giants like Amazon and Alibaba. The event will incorporate fundraising for storm- and flood-ravaged communities in northern and central Vietnam," stressed the official.

According to Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Autumn Fair will be “the largest, most modern, most diverse, highest-quality, most engaging and most preferential” event ever held in Vietnam.

"More than 2,500 enterprises have registered to participate, including around 100 international companies from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, China, Australia, New Zealand and other countries," Phu said.

Spanning more than 130,000 square meters, with five thematic zones and over 3,000 booths, the fair will feature participation from all 34 provinces and cities, along with thousands of local and international enterprises to showcase their products and seek cooperation opportunities.

Featuring exhibitions, seminars, business matching and trade promotion events, the fair aims to connect consumers with businesses, localities with markets, and Vietnam with the world, fostering trade flows and sustainable growth.

Phu noted that besides indoor exhibition spaces, the organizing board will offer an array of lively outdoor activities such as games, concerts, art performances, fashion shows and cultural exchanges.
