THE HANOI TIMES —All four members of Vietnam’s national chemistry team won gold medals at the 2025 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), with two students ranking in the top 10 globally.

The four Vietnamese students who won gold medals at IChO 2025 are Ngo Quang Minh (7th place), Nguyen Hoang Khoi (10th), Giang Duc Dung (14th), and Nguyen Manh Tuan (37th).
They are from top specialized high schools in Bac Ninh, Hanoi National Pedagogical University, Vietnam National University Hanoi, and Hanoi-Amsterdam, respectively.
Vietnam tied with China and the United States in the gold medal count. From 2020 to 2025, all 24 Vietnamese IChO participants won medals, including 21 gold and three silver.
