Hanoi starts housing project for public security force
The project will provide more housing supplies for public security forces and help Hanoi fulfill its housing development this year.
THE HANOI TIMES — A housing project in Hanoi’s Khuong Dinh Ward was inaugural on August 14 for the People’s Public Security force.

Located on 275 Nguyen Trai Road, the complex having a total floor area of 54,000 m2 with 408 apartments for a population of 1,200 residents.
Construction is expected to complete in Q2/2027.
The project celebrates the 20th anniversary of the All People’s Day for National Security Protection and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution People’s Public Security traditional day (August 19), and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said that the inauguration of the housing project shows the Party and State's support in addressing housing difficulties for security forces and helped them focus on their duties.
He added the ministry has been working with the Ministry of Construction and the Hanoi People’s Committee to build houses for the public security forces, achieving certain results.
The deputy minister requested that investor and relevant agencies comply with all existing regulations so that the project is implemented with quality, safety, and on schedule.
According to Lieutenant General Duc, the ministry will begin to build another project in Duong Noi Ward.
On August 13, in Thanh Tri Ward, the ministry kicked off the construction of Valenta Nguyen Xien – a housing project for officials, officers, and employees of the public security force.
The single-building project is designed with 30 stories and three basements, covering an area of 3,500 m2 for a population of 400 families.
This year, the prime minister assigned Hanoi a target of completing 4,670 housing units. According to on-site inspections, the Ministry of Construction assessed that the city could surpass the target, delivering over 4,700 units across six projects.
