The journalists will work at the A80 Press Center, which was inaugurated on August 26 to provide official information, facilitate reporting and handling press-related requests.

According to Le Hai Binh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, journalism has helped strengthen the people's trust and pride in the policies of the Party and the State.

Media coverage has motivated Party members, government officials, and people to overcome difficulties and complete all socio-economic development tasks, thus propelling the country's growth in the new era of prosperity, he said.

"We will create all favorable conditions for domestic and international reporters to complete their jobs. All journalists must comply with security regulations and designated working areas," the deputy minister said.

Binh said that the 80th National Day celebration on September 2 is a significant chapter in Vietnam’s journey.

"It is an opportunity to honor our homeland's heroes, foster patriotism, solidarity, aspirations for peace, and the spirit of self-reliance and national pride," he said.

The event pays tribute to generations who sacrificed for independence and reunification, while reaffirming the determination of the entire Party, people, and army to build and defend the nation, the deputy minister added.
