THE HANOI TIMES — The number of tourists who visited Danang during the latest international fireworks festival hit a record high of 1.88 million, according to city authorities.
This figure, including 1.1 million Vietnamese tourists and 770,000 international visitors, up 26% from the last year’s festival.
The number of visitors per performance night increased by 39% from last year's edition, reaching 504,000 people over the six nights of performances.

From May 31 to July 12, the central coastal city earned some VND5.6 trillion (US$214 million) from the 2025 International Fireworks Festival, doubling that of last year's festival.
Held annually since 2008 and expanded to include international competitors in 2017, the Danang International Fireworks Festival has become one of the city’s signature events.
This year's festival featured 10 teams from Vietnam and abroad competing under the theme "Danang — The New Rising Era," which celebrated 50 years since the city's liberation.
Jiangxi Yangfeng, a Chinese team, won the championship this year with a prize of $20,000. Vina Pyrotech was the runner-up and secured a $10,000 prize.
