Helicopters reach isolated flood-hit areas with emergency supplies The Ministry of Defence sent two helicopters on 24 July to deliver emergency aid to flood-affected areas in western Nghe An Province. Dozens of tons of essential supplies were airlifted to hundreds of households inaccessible due to prolonged rainfall and landslides, which have also disrupted National Highway 7A, the main route connecting the area to the provincial center.
