THE HANOI TIMES —Vietnam won the championship title at the 2025 Expanded ASEAN Police Football Tournament by beating Cambodia 4-0 in the final match on July 15 at the Hang Day Stadium in Hanoi.

The Vietnam Public Security Team II took the lead in the fifth minute with a header by Nguyen Nhu Tuan.
Tran Duc Nam doubled the lead in the 32nd minute with a long-range strike. Goals in the second half by Vu Manh Duy (68’) and Nguyen Duc Phut (80’) sealed the 4-0 victory and $30,000 prize.
Cambodia received the runner-up prize of $15,000, and Thailand and Timor-Leste tied for third place, each receiving $5,000.
Vietnamese Tran Duc Nam was named top scorer (eight goals) and best player. Nattawoot Saengdara, the Thai goalkeeper, was named best goalkeeper, and Laos won the Fair Play award.

Eight teams from seven countries participated: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Australia, and two teams from Vietnam.
